Geasey Field
Geasey Field in 2016
Overlooking Center City Philadelphia, Geasey Field sits at the corner of 15th Street and Polett Walk on the Temple University campus. Until recently, Geasey Field was once one of the largest permanent Astroturf surfaces in the world, covering more than 156,000 square-feet. Practicing on the Astroturf surface every week allowed it to become a huge home field advantage, with the Owls boasting a 25-4 record at Geasey from 2013-2017. A renovation during the summer of 2018 has resurfaced Geasey Field with brand new FieldTurf, and is the new site of all men's lacrosse games. The first men's lacrosse game was played on the resurfaced Geasey Field field on November 4th, 2018 for the Alumni Game.
Temple Sports Complex (TSC)
Opened in 2017, the Temple Sports Complex is located on Masters Street between 13th and Broad Street at the site of the former William Penn High School. The entire TSC complex consists of an Astroturf surface lined for lacrosse and field hockey toward the south (Howarth Field), and a FieldTurf surface lined for soccer toward the north. TSC serves as the Owl's practice field during the fall and spring seasons.
Student Training and Recreation (STAR) Complex
Opened in 2017, the Aramark STAR Complex is located along 15th Street between Montgomery Avenue and Polett Walk. The STAR Complex is a multipurpose academic, athletics and recreation facility featuring an indoor 70-yard synthetic turf field, weight room, rock wall and outdoor track. STAR serves as the Owls practice field during the fall and spring seasons during cold and inclement weather.
